If you want to learn and improve, you have to get into the habit of reading. Textbooks are not always enough. They are actually almost never enough.
The life skills books will help you achieve your goals because they have been written after years of analysis. So these books aren’t just some words these authors have written.

I know it’s not mentioned in any article about goal setting and I really don’t know why. If you wouldn’t change your bad habits to good ones, how will you achieve your goals?
This book focuses on how to become the person who wants to achieve the set goals rather than being just fixated on the goals.

No matter what your goals are- whether you want to become a successful business owner or to become physically fit or to crack your exams, this book is what you need.

5. Measure What Matters: How Google, Bono, and the Gates Foundation Rock the World with OKRs by John Doerr
Legendary venture capitalist John Doerr reveals how the goal-setting system of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) has helped tech giants from Intel to Google achieve explosive growth—and how it can help any organization thrive.
Doerr taught Larry Page and Sergey Brin(who literally changed the face of internet) about a proven approach to operating excellence: Objectives and Key Results.
He had first discovered OKRs in the 1970s as an engineer at Intel, where the legendary Andy Grove (“the greatest manager of his or any era”) drove the best-run company Doerr had ever seen. Later, as a venture capitalist, Doerr shared Grove’s brainchild with more than fifty companies. Wherever the process was faithfully practiced, it worked.
In Measure What Matters, Doerr shares a wide range of first-person, behind-the-scenes case studies, with narrators including Bono and Bill Gates, to demonstrate the focus, agility, and explosive growth that OKRs have spurred at so many great organizations.
This book will help the new generation of leaders capture the same magic.
Popular quote from the book:
We must realize—and act on the realization—that if we try to focus on everything, we focus on nothing.
John Doerr
